Douglas Roy Stier
June 13, 1958 – January 19, 2025
Douglas Roy Stier, a man of unwavering faith, a devoted husband, dedicated father, and loving papa, passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2025. Born on June 13, 1958, in Denver, Colorado, Doug led a life that embodied love, devotion, and a deep connection to his faith and family.
For over 40 years, Doug was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Mikki Stier. Together, they built a life filled with love and cherished memories. As a father, Doug was steadfast in his love and guidance, and he was a proud hero and papa to his granddaughter, Addison. He also leaves behind his sons, Zachary and Tom Stier, his daughter-in-law, Amy Stier, and his brother, Greg Stier.
Doug was passionate about fishing and found solace in the beauty of God’s creation. Just like the salmon that journeys back home, Doug too has returned to his eternal home in heaven, where his faith and love will continue to shine brightly. He will be remembered for his kindness, his devotion to his family, and his countless stories that always brought a smile to those around him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to the Addison Stier College Fund.
Doug’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

It broke our hearts to learn of Doug’s passing. Although we will see him again in Heaven one day it’s sad to know God has taken home one of the purest hearts and best people to we have ever known.
Our cousin until we meet again in heaven give my Mama, my Dad and our Grandparents a big hug.
