Douglas Eugene Hall, 60, passed away on January 13, 2025, at his home with his wife Jenny by his side.
Doug was born on February 22, 1964, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Bill and Freda Hall. He grew up and graduated in Ankeny, Iowa. Doug was united in marriage to Jenny Hall September 22, 2001. They moved to Des Moines, Iowa, where they raised a son, dogs, and a cat.
Doug worked at Arnold’s Motor Supply, Iowa Machinery, and Herc-U-Lift where he finished his career as parts manager.
Doug enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, son, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for anyone. His passions were fishing (a lot), helping racing friends, tinkering in the garage, and hanging out with his dog.
Hall is survived by wife, Jenny Hall; son, Jeremy Wamberg; grandson, Isaac; mother, Freda Hall; sister, Terri (Dan) Smith; sister-in-law, Rhonda (Mike) Crouse; mother-in-law, Kathy Wamberg; nephews and nieces; dog Dooly; and cat Josie.
Hall is preceded in death by his dad, Bill Hall; father-in-law, Jim Wamberg; and dogs, Freedom, Willie, Ri, JD, and Little D.
