Doug Anderson

Douglas R. Anderson, 67, passed away May 5, 2025.

He was born July 31, 1957 to Clarence and Patricia Anderson. Doug was a proud East High graduate, class of 1975. He was the president and owner of Cardinal Transportation for many years.

Doug was very involved with East High alumni and was enjoying helping plan their 50th class reunion. He loved his dogs and was a very devoted grandfather. Doug was passionate about volunteering at Hanson House and helping individuals reintegrate into the community following incarceration. He was very generous and will be deeply missed by those who loved him.

He is survived by his son, Josh Anderson; grandchildren, Angel, Adelynn, River, and A’layna; siblings, Craig (Connie) Anderson and Laura (Dennis) Gardiner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions can be made to the DSM East High School Alumni Foundation in loving memory of Doug.

Celebration of life will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Ridge Pointe Pavilion, 655 SE Legacy Pointe Blvd Waukee, Iowa
