Donald Whisnant was born July 31, 1953 and passed away October 23, 2023 at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny at the age of 70.
Donald was very patriotic and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved camping, fishing and spending time with his companion Mary.
Donald will be laid to rest with military honors on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.

I just found out Don was a very good friend of mine we grew up in Michigan he was like an older brother to me we built race cars together back in early 80s and hunting and fishing quite often you are missed bro until we see each other again I have so many good memories with Don
