I offer my sincere regret to the family and friends of Diane. As a member of the Patriot Guard Riders of Iowa, I stood flag line with Diane at many services of fallen soldiers, and her dedication to our mission of respect and solace was admired, as we all knew it came from her heart. Many of us who have been with the Patriot Guard for many years consider it to be akin to a family of dedicated brothers and sisters...Diane was a true PGR Sister. We are all sorry for the way her life came to an end, and far too soon. But I know that I will remember her for the vibrant and caring person that she was, when she rode her motorcycle with us during escorts,
and standing with a flag. Diane was a class act, and she will be remembered by those who knew her until the end of our days. Sincerely, SFC Ray Needham USA Ret., State Chaplain, Patriot Guard Riders of Iowa.

To Phyllis, Ron, and Bobby,
I was very sad when I was told the news of Diane's passing. She had alot of positive energy when I knew her. Over 50 years ago life was much simpler then and was easy to get through life. I will always treasure our good times I our youth. She was a survivor and a good role.model for her son.
