Diana Griffith
November 20, 1939 — November 11, 2024
Diana Joy Griffith 84, passed away on 11-11-24 of natural causes at home.
Diana was born on November 20th, 1939 in Des Moines, the daughter of Howard and Arlene Bell. She was a proud graduate of East High School Lee Township Against The World. She was a champion bowler in her younger years and even bowled a perfect game at one point. Having eight brothers growing up helped make her become the strong person she was. She logged thousands of miles on her bike, taking many long rides with her good friend Linda Bowman. Diana always did what she loved and was quite the accomplished heckler and comedian. There was never a day without hearing her laugh about something and always had a comeback for whatever you said. Diana was a wonderful, loving mother, daughter and sister and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Diana is survived by her sons, Kelly and Doug; granddaughters, Shay and Reagan; grandson, Connor; and brothers, Mike, Steve and David Bell.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul; parents, Howard and Arlene; brothers, Jack, Jerry, Terry, Paul and Ted.
Per Diana’s wishes there will a private family viewing followed by a cremation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.

And he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known”

My dear, dear friend, RIP. We shared so many special times together from meeting weekly at Barb's house to multiple dinners both in restaurants and, the best, your house. You were instrumental in getting me back to the USA and giving me a home while I waited to get into my apt. (and even let me bring my cat!). I miss you dearly.
