Dennis LeMay

Dennis Allen LeMay, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines surrounded by family.

Dennis was born May 11, 1947, in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Alvin and Wilma LeMay. He was an avid New York Yankees, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Chicago Bears fan. His favorite pastime was gambling.

He is survived by his son, Nathan LeMay; daughters, Michelle (Jason) Ramsey and Melissa (Shannan) LeMay; grandchildren, Dylan Ramsey, Devon (Emily) Ramsey, and Alex Ramsey; cousins, Susie and Madeline; and other extended family and friends.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Wilma LeMay.

Cremation will occur and there will be no formal services held at this time. There will be a celebration of life in May on his birthday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family.
