Danny "Jordo" Jordan
September 08, 1949 — October 15, 2023
Dan Patrick Jordan, AKA-Danny, Dano, Jordo, Bubba was born September 8, 1949, to Bud & Vickie Jordan (Nana & Popo). He was the middle child of three boys. Danny successfully fought his cancer battle for 2 ½ years & was told “Carry on with life – all is good” after brain surgery August 31, 2023. Pneumonia set in and after 17 days his body surrendered into the Good Lord’s arms on October 15, 2023, at 74 years old.
Danny attended St. Anthony’s grade school & graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967. He served in the Army National Guard as a medic for six years. He became a Journeyman for the Electrical IBEW Local 347 Labor Union where his expertise took him into several directions over the years including an estimator for ABC Electric & owning his own business in rural Casey/Adair area. He was an active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Danny married Debbie (Melton) Wheeler in 1968 and together they had one son Jeremy Jordan. He was a lover of life and adventure, laughter and good times were had by all! Together Dan & Jeremy “Buck” shared soooo many incredible times together watching football (go Hawks from Dan, go Cyclones from Buck – you can only imagine) hunting, camping, concerts, races, riding their Harley motorcycles on many trips. Gathering’s with friends & family was the highlight of his life.
Danny will be missed by many members of his family and many friends! He is survived by his son, Jeremy (Nicole) Jordan; his two grandsons, Zachary (Ali) and Jacob; great grandson, David; special companion, Phyllis Deremiah and Patchy; his brother, John Jordan; and many cousins, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Chuck Jordan.

It is so hard to believe that Dan is gone. He was truly one of a kind; sweet, loving, caring, and so fun to be around with his incredible laugh. His smile always brightened your day.
We had a great dinner group that Dan started, every month he'd always pick the place, date and time. It was always a good time.
Our sincere condolences to his family and Phyllis.

The first time I met Dan was through his older brother Chuck. When we were introduced Dan was probably around 13- years old. He was riding a bicycle without a shirt on. I remember thinking this kid is one powerful kid Haha! He went on to prove that title becoming a champion Lincoln High wrestler. Later in life Danny helped me out doing all the electrical work restoring Charlie Colosimos old fruit building, where I started my first company. Good young kid, exceptional athlete, good man, and good friend. I have always had great respect for Dan Jorden, you will be missed brother. I am in the late twilight of my days. I look forward to seeing you once again!

Jordo will be missed.
We did a lot of riding with him in the late 90s and there was never a dull moment!
I remember a particular poker run where we made some additional stops & had to fly down the interstate to get to the last stop.
Everyone else who followed the route got rained on but not us because we made our own route!

Danny will be missed by so many. I hadn't seen Danny in many years but was always kept up to date by my sister and cousin on how he was doing. I want to give my deepest condolences to his family! You are all in my thoughts and prayers! RIP Danny!

There will never be another Dan. That smile, that laugh, that heart. I'm praying his family can find comfort in knowing he is at perfect rest.
