David Doyal Guyer passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2024.

David was born October 30, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa to Dale and Roxie (Lincoln) Guyer. He was raised on the eastside of Des Moines and graduated from Tech High School. He started working as a painter and at one point received the honor of the top wall painter hanger of the State of Iowa.

Survivors include his two brothers, John (Judy- deceased) Guyer and Bill (Nancy) Guyer of Ankeny, Iowa; and his two sisters, Judy (George) Lawrence of Bondurant, Iowa and Mardell (Dwight) Ellis of Des Moines; and his children, Shelli Guyer, Shannon (Gary) Rose, Jennifer Guyer, and grandchildren Amanda Signs, Mia Windsor, Brandon Guyer, and Carolyn Rose (John) Seuferer, and many nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Roxie (Lincoln) Guyer and his brothers and sisters; Janice, Paul, Dwayne Guyer, Joyce Little, Jim Guyer and Norma (Byrkett) Guyer, and Mary (Bacon) Guyer, and his son Jimmy Guyer.
