Diana Mae (Kruzich) Bryan

Diana Mae (Kruzich) Bryan, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Diana was born June 21, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa to Fred and Josephine Kruzich. She has been a resident of the Des Moines area for most of her life. She graduated from East High School in 1956, and worked for the State of Iowa for 30 years in Job Service and General Services. She belonged to the Croatian Fraternal Union and the Christian Women’s Club. She loved her family get-togethers as family was very important to her. She loved to dance for many years at the Val Air Ballroom where she met her husband, Ron. She loved her three dogs, Rascal, Frisky, and Kelly, and they gave her much happiness.

Diana is survived by her husband, Ronald Bryan; her twin brother, Dave Kruzich (Nora); and several nieces, nephews, and stepchildren.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Josephine Kruzich and her brother, Fred (Jeanette) Kruzich.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will take place on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., also at Hamilton’s, and will be followed by burial at Lowman Cemetery in Runnells, Iowa.
