Dennis D. Boothroyd

Dennis Dale Boothroyd, age 63, was born February 21, 1960, in Des Moines, Iowa, and passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at his home in Des Moines.

He is survived by his mother, Lorus Fillman; siblings, Gary Boothroyd, Sandra Barton, Carol Fiscus, Mike Boothroyd, Rhonda Morrow, Chris Fillman, and Bill Fillman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Walter Boothroyd; and his siblings, Robert Boothroyd and Connie Hodge.

Cremation will occur. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Evergreen Church of Christ, 2215 Evergreen Ave., Des Moines, Iowa, 50320. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to NAMI in loving memory of Dennis.
