Dean E. Bentley

Dean Edward Bentley, age 50, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Dean was born February 24, 1973, in Des Moines, Iowa.
He loved to go fishing and wanted to take his wife, Violet, to go shark fishing in Florida. Dean was a very ornery man. He lived to make jokes and pick on Ursula, their fur-daughter. Dean loved to ride motorcycles. Dean loved to hang out with his friends Brian and Heather and URyan and Kim. Dean loved to do door dash and he loved to cook for his family and friends. Dean's passion was to one day own his own food truck.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Bentley, Sr. and Barbara Hostetter; brother, Larry Bentley Jr; sister-in-law, Charla Bentley; in-laws, Ralph and Mary (Poly) Adler; and his daugher, Amanda Adler. And he also had a older daughter that passed away also.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Violet Bentley; sons, Robert Adler, Zachary Hockett, Tim Adler, Chris Shriver, and Shawn Shriver; sisters, Dianna Grube, Lora Bentley Nereim Morton, and Elise Rivera; brothers, Brian Weitzin, Tom Cleghorn, and David Dedmond; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Violet would like to thank Ashley (Bentley) Mauk, Marsha Thacker, and Stephanie Campball for being by her side through everything.
There will be a celebration of life on July 16th an hour before it gets dark and then when it's dark fireworks will be set off to conclude the service. There will also be a balloon release. I Love You Dean and I miss you more and more everyday I try to move on in my life but I just can't I will continue to miss you until I know you have moved on I will always love you baby next month is our anniversary.
