Craig Hall, 66, Indianola

Our loving father, Craig Owen Hall, age 66, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Craig was born May 12, 1957, in Des Moines at Mercy Hospital to Donald and Marjorie (Williams) Hall.

Craig graduated from Lincoln High School in 1975. During high school he enjoyed playing football, golf, and being on the 1975 State Championship basketball team. He served as a Senior Pressman at multiple print shops after starting his career at Hall Printing Company, the family business.

Craig really enjoyed watching hockey, “Go Saint Louis Blues”, was a huge Iowa Hawkeye Fan, an avid NASCAR fan, loved the ocean breeze, cooking on the grill, but most importantly his happiest moments were spending time with family. He loved his long talks with his favorite sister and spending time with his children. Craig enjoyed reading from his Bible and western novels, eating sweets, and the little things in life. He was a born again Christian, devoting himself to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: “For we know how clearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.” and “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you.” – Romans 5:5 & 12:2.

He is survived by his sister Marla (Greg) Fay, children: Crystal (Kirby) Tootill, Cory Hall, Chase Hall, Sierra Hall (Adam Ward), Channel Hall (Yancy Palmer), grandchildren: Leah Cozad, Alex Tootill, Mason Tootill, and nephew Grant Fay.

Craig was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, his parents Donald and Marjorie Hall, grandparents Owen and Louise Hall.
