Carol Drummond

Carol Ann Drummond, age 62, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024, after a courageous battle with health complications.

Carol was born October 8, 1961, in Des Moines, Iowa to Jerry and Virginia Garland. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Wells Fargo for 19 years. Carol enjoyed gardening and loved her dogs.

She is survived by her husband of the past 20 years, Steve; mother, Virginia Garland; siblings, Barry (Patty) Garland, Jerry (Debbie) Garland, Cheryl (Merrill) Wisecup, and Karla VanDusseldorp; nieces and nephews, Beth, Nicki, and Josh; and other extended family and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Garland; and sister-in-law, Cathy.

There will be a celebration of life held on Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Jester Park, Shelter #6

Steve and family, I am devastated to hear this news. Carol and I were work besties for a long time. Please let me know when celebration of life will be. She was such a down to earth human and said it like it was, that is what I loved about her. May she rest in peace. Prayers to all of you

I went to junior high school with Carol. She was a sweet person and had such a fun loving personality. I'm so very sorry for the family's loss.
