Carolyn Ann Cropp, affectionately known as “Tweet Tweet”, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the age of 76.

Carolyn was born September 17, 1948, in Glasgow, Missouri to Vernon and Nellie (Whitley) Wright. She worked as a Teachers’ Aide for Des Moines Public Schools. Carolyn loved cooking for others and listening to music, especially if it was Michael Jackson. She was a fan of soap operas and games shows like Family Feud and the Price is Right. She enjoyed getting her hair brushed and styled. Above all else, Carolyn treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her Children: Sherry Cropp, Cheryl Cropp (Jack Roberts) and Kevin Cropp (Michelle Oliver); Grandchildren: Kaleb Cropp, Coby Cropp, Kayla Cropp, Janiya Oliver, Kourtney Cropp, Cassandra Cropp, Kevin Cropp, Jr., Giselle Oliver, Kendell Cropp, Kendrick Cropp, Harper Roberts, Avielle Roberts, Qwincy Roberts and Adaline Roberts; Great-Grandchildren: Joell Maciel, Jr., Grey Hockenberg, Maliyah Yadon, Rhemington Robinson-Gray and one on the way. She is also survived by her Siblings: Alice (George) Morton, Joyce (Eddie) Dixon, Emerita Ganaway, Keith (Myrtle) Wright, Cecilia Brown and Wayne (Lisa) Wright as well as numerous nieces and nephews, a host of other loving relatives and many special friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her Parents, Vernon and Nellie Wright and her Siblings: Vernon Wright, Jr., Leon Wright, Joe Wright, Raydell Wright, Kenneth Wright, Maynard Wright, Donald Wright, Virgie Carl and Olivia Wright.

Private services were held and cremation has occurred. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
