Charles "Chuck" Beebe
October 06, 1959 — March 19, 2024
Charles Albert Beebe, Jr., 64, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. He was surrounded by family and friends. Chuck fought a hard battle with cancer.
Chuck was born October 6, 1959, in Des Moines, Iowa to Charles Albert Beebe, Sr. and Betty Jean Smith. He graduated from Lincoln High School and was a diesel mechanic at Penske Truck Leasing for 33 years.
Chuck will be missed dearly. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, neighbor, and provider to those he loved most. He was meticulous, driven, and always eager to take on a project.
His family and friends will also remember him as a jovial potty mouth. He was true blue, the salt of the earth, and loved making people laugh, often with a beer in his hand. His favorite hobbies were hunting, racing, and watching sports, but nothing gave him greater joy than spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Cindy Ervanian; his children, Charles Beebe III, John Beebe (Lindsay), Christina Beebe; step-children, Alex Ervanian (Kait), Greg Ervanian (Anna), Meredith Brady; mother, Betty McCormick (Jack); siblings, Jerry Hope, Cathy Hopkins, Carolyn Hope, Nick Rodriguez; grandchildren, Kurt, Ethan, Riley, Cecilia, Roland, Aurora, Dahlia; and well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles Beebe; step-father, Nicholas Rodriguez; grandmother, Irene Smith; and brother in law, Darin Hopkins.
A celebration of life will be held at the Eagles Lodge 109, 6567 Bloomfield Road, Des Moines on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Chuck.

I am very lucky to know Chuck for many years and each visit was going to be a laugh. My son was able to work with Chuck also and enjoyed Chuck and his joking around with the younger kids as he educated them in life.
