Bruce Locke Barron, 83, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2024. He was born on February 27, 1941 in Ames, Iowa to Wallace and Mary (Rhea) Barron.
Bruce graduated from Kemper Military School and served in the Air National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Mary (Rhea) Barron, and brother, Brian Barron and his dog, Maxwell.
No services are planned at this time.

I am so sad you are gone from this earth....but heaven has a new angel! I hope you're having a rum and coke with daddy, and Wells and Holwager, and making mother laugh......which you always could. When I told my kids you were gone.......they both responded, "he was so much fun". You were truly one of my dearest friends and I will cherish our times and laughs together. Even after I left Iowa, we could laugh and tell limericks and jokes to each other on the phone and fall on the floor laughing. I know how much you loved the people in your life and I'm glad I got to be one of those. You were one of a kind, and a treasure. There aren't enough words to tell you how much you meant to me. Rest in peace sweet Bruce.
