Beverly Rooker

Beverly Jean Rooker, 90, passed away on January 20, 2024 at Valley View Village in Des Moines, Iowa.

She was born November 21, 1933 in Des Moines Iowa to her parents, Daniel and Vivian McConkey. Beverly enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Beverly is survived by her sons, Carl (Janice) Brandt, Jeffrey Brandt, and Christopher Brandt; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and her sister, LaVonne Blount.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Rooker; parents; granddaughter, Krista Brandt; great-grandson, Xander Perkins; and siblings, Lenore, Sandra, and Richard.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 N.W. 60th Avenue Des Moines, Iowa.
