Beverly Ann Bloomquist, 91, died at Kavanagh House on January 3, 2024.

Beverly Bloomquist was born November 13, 1932 in Ames, IA to Carl and Goldie Pepper. She was married to Gary A. Bloomquist on September 19, 1959 and they celebrated 64 years together.

Beverly was a graduate of Boone High School Class of ‘52 and the American Institute of Business. She remained busy most of her young life taking care of her family and enjoyed volunteering at local hospitals in Des Moines.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of Waukee, IA; daughter, Kathleen Tysklind (Mike) of West Des Moines, IA; son, Tim Bloomquist (Barb) of Urbandale, IA; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Goldie (Mangus) Pepper; father, Carl Pepper; sister, Annabelle Kilina; brother, Gerald Pepper; and son, Thomas A. Bloomquist.
