Ray, words cannot express the profound sorrow I felt when I learned of Barbara's passing.
Memories of many, many years gone past give me great book marks in my mind of a very
dear and close knit group of people that gathered at the little white church at 2556 Onawa -Chesterfield Christian Church. Yes we were the congregation, but more than that, we were a family in our own right. And we all drew on each others strengths.
I've told you before that I have always appreciated the friendship that you shared with my dad. And I am glad that spirit of friendship carried over to me. I have always enjoyed seeing you and talking with you and Barb.
It goes without saying, but I want you to know, that my heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolences are extended to you and the rest of your family.
You and Barb were like surrogate Moms and Dads to all us "kids" at Chesterfield. Thank you.
