Brandin “Strech” Tyran Thomas Harrington Krisinger, age 38, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Brandin was born September 16, 1986, in Des Moines. He grew up learning car detailing with his grandfather, that he continued to do most of his adult life. He had recently made the switch to ICS Fiber Company as an Internet Tech.

Brandin had a passion for music, especially rap, and was always dancing. He had a huge personality and lit up any room he entered. He was a big jokester, a storyteller, and loved to make people laugh. He was infamous for his long “short” stories. Brandin was the protector in his family, for his own kids and his siblings. He always had your back. Brandin took good care of his appearance and had an impressive shoe and jewelry collection. He was very family oriented and was often times the peacemaker, always trying to get his family to come together. He adored his wife and children and he was devoted to them. He was the connector in his family and between his friends, he was always uniting people.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Krisinger; children, Cameron Krisinger, BraeLynn Krisinger, and Averie Krisinger; mother, Jacki Krisinger (Bryan VanKooten); father, Antonio Harrington; siblings, Alyssa Killin, Tyler Armel (Tiffany Kennedy), Jordan Krisinger (Melisa), and Moriah Killin-Graves; nieces and nephew, Sincere Armel, Leilani Krisinger, and Hayden Greenwood; uncles, Randy Waters and Michael Harrington; cousins, Angela Stork (Jamie), Chad Waters (Jennifer), and Cicely Gordon; mother-in-law, Lorrie May; sister-in-law, Michelle Greenwood (Christopher); as well as many other close family and friends.

Brandin was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Thelma Harrington and Robert and Marilyn Krisinger; aunt, Joni Waters; father-in-law, Marty Little; and his very close friend, Joshua Savage.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery after the funeral.
