Bradley D. Ashby
February 16, 1960 — February 08, 2025
Bradley D. Ashby of Altoona, passed away suddenly on Saturday February 8, 2025.
Preceded in death by his father, Norman, Brad is survived by his mother, Corrine, wife, Diane, children: Jason (Kristin), Sarah, and Alyson, his grandsons, Everett & Nolan, siblings: Jeff (Marty), Kim (Mike) Mounts, & Kelley (Kate), Aunt Judy (John) Mayberry, and his two kitties, Mia & Ozzie, who take up more space in his camera roll than anyone listed above.
Brad lived for riding bikes and camping with his family and friends. Especially his best friends, The Love's!
A true fix-it guy, Brad was a man of many skills. Along with working on cars and grilling meats, he was a talented woodworker, and will live on through the beautiful decks & furniture he built with his loved ones.
Brad will always be remembered for his goofy/juvenile sense of humor. If you could take his jokes and deal it right back, he probably loved you for it! He especially enjoyed joking around with his many "bonus" children, along with his coworkers, customers, and buddies.
Brad was a good honest man who worked hard and loved his family, friends, and the Iowa Hawkeyes dearly. He will be missed by many.
Cremation will occur and there will be a celebration of life from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2025, with a time of sharing at 2:00 p.m., at the Townsend Community Center, 6615 NE 41st Avenue, Altoona, IA. For those unable to attend in person, there will be livestream of the time of sharing through the link below.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the family in loving memory of Brad, either in person at the celebration of life, or directly to Diane via Venmo: @diane-sell-ashby
