Musselman family, I was so saddened to hear about Alice and Larry. I was Alice’s assistant at Aging Resources. She taught me so much! I always loved when Larry would visit because the two of them were so funny together. Always bickering like siblings but obviously so in love :) Alice did SO much for the nutrition programs in central Iowa. She will be missed!

On behalf of Aging Resources of Central Iowa, our staff, Board, Advisory Council, clients, and caregivers, we give thanks for the life, the energy, the dedication, and love that Alice displayed every day of her long history of service to us all. Alice was so generous with her time and talent, making sure our community of older adults was nourished with food and kindness. The Holiday Meals-on-Wheels program was her inspiration which provided hot meals on Thanksgiving and Christmas to the homes of our community members who had no meal or visitors on those holidays, with the support of many loving volunteers.
To the family members who Alice loved so deeply, we send our sympathy and our understanding of your loss. We have all been blessed by the life of our friend Alice. Love, peace, and blessings to you.

Deepest and most sincere condolences to all who are mourning the loss of Alice especially her family members and friends. I worked closely with Alice at Aging Resources for roughly 15 years. She taught me a lot over the years and I got to know her well. Her love for her family was limitless and she was such a hard working and dedicated worker.
We also spent a number of years working the Holiday Meals on Wheels program which was her pride and joy. Many older Iowans were able to have a hot meal on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day thanks to Alice's foresight.
Thank you, Alice for being patient with me and tolerating me all those years! You will be missed dearly.
