Adaleigh Nicole Kiley
January 31, 2012 — October 23, 2025
Adaleigh “Addy” Nicole, age 13, passed away far too soon on October 23, 2025.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Lutheran Church of Hope, 1335 NE Beaverbrooke Blvd. in Grimes, Iowa, with visitation from 9:30–11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will take place at a later date.
Addy was born on January 31, 2012, in Des Moines, Iowa, and was an eighth-grade student at Woodward-Granger Junior High School, where she proudly cheered on the Hawks and loved being part of the volleyball team and doing gymnastics.
Addy was a bright light with a beautiful soul. She filled every room with laughter and music—you could always find her singing her heart out, sketching, or leaving behind colorful doodles and notes that made everyone smile. She had a gift for making people feel seen and included, and her playful sense of humor and joyful energy were contagious.
She loved traveling and being outdoors—especially hiking at Lookout Mountain in Tennessee and visiting Anna Maria Island in Florida with her family. Those adventures were her happy places, full of sunshine, laughter, and love.
Addy’s time on earth was heartbreakingly short, but her impact will last forever. Her kindness, determination, and beautiful heart touched so many. We know that God must have needed her more, and that her mission here was complete—but it’s hard, because we needed her too. She was our everything.
Addy is survived by her parents, Amy and Andrew Kiley; grandparents, Becky Grissom and Alan and Cheryl Kiley; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other loving family members and friends; and her beloved dogs, Luna and Finn, who she adored.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lee Grissom and great-grandfather, Bob Bumann, who we believe are now holding her close in Heaven.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Addy. Condolences may be shared at www.HamiltonsFuneralHome.com.

Andrew and Amy,
I am so deeply sorry for the loss of Addy. It was always such a joy to have her in the office, I loved our little conversations we would have. She will be so missed.
