Madonna Nordaker

Madonna Jean (Casson) Nordaker, 77 died on Friday, April 13, 2007 at Taylor Hospice House in East Des Moines. Memorial services will be held 1pm Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Union Park United Methodist Church in Des Moines.
Friends and family are welcome to share a memory of “Donna” during the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be given to either East High Alumni Scholarship Fund or to Taylor Hospice House.
Madonna was born in Des Moines on November 7, 1929, the daughter of (William) Russell and Edna (Walker) Casson, Sr., lifelong east Des Moines family. A graduate of East High class of “47, Madonna continued her association with the East High Alumni Association throughout her life. Beside raising a family, Madonna worked as a bookkeeper for Russ Casson & Son Wholesale Meats. Among other personal interests, Madonna was a co-founder of the Central Iowa Computer User Group and belonged to the Sons of Norway.
Madonna is survived by her three sons, Vance Phillip Nordaker of St. Paul, Minnesota, Craig Randal Nordaker of Bellvue, Nebraska and Randy Casson Nordaker of Des Moines; and 6 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren .
Madonna was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Robert Nordaker, and brother, (William) Russell Casson Jr.
