Service Details
Jeannie Willemssen, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 30, 2011, at her home in Perry, Missouri. Friends and family will gather Tuesday July 5, 2011, from 5 to 7 p.m., to celebrate her life and continue on Wednesday July 6, at 11 a.m., with her funeral service at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Jeannie was born August 16, 1935, in Decatur, Iowa, to Thomas and Alta Woodard.
Jeannie is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Rhonda Porter (Dan) of Perry, MO, and Kathy Houge (Duane) of Slater; sons, Mark Rynearson (Janelle) of Urbandale, and Roger Rynearson of Cedar Rapids; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Woodard (Linda) of Windsor Heights, and Warren Woodward of Des Moines; and other beloved family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Willemssen; son, Ted Rynearson; sisters, Pat Lovejoy and Sheryl Cozad; and brothers, Bill, Dick and Mike Woodard.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Perry, Missouri.
