Karen McBride

Karen McBride, 63, passed away June 26, 2011, at Bright Kavanagh House. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Prairie Meadows Event Center.

Karen was born February 23, 1948, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, to Joe and Edith Michal. She graduated from BGM High School and married Marc McBride on June 1, 1974, at the Little Brown Church. She enjoyed collecting Blue Glass and spending time with her family.

Karen is survived by her husband, Marc; sons, Michal (Charley Ann Thompson) and Matthew McBride; brother, Norman Dvorak; sister, Betty Upah; and her grandchildren, Austin, Kaelyn and Caiden McBride.
