Steve Blair

Steve Blair, 56, died on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center from a heart attack.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Steve was born May 24, 1955 in Hillcrest, Illinois to Marjorie (Young) and John Blair, Jr. He owned AAA Diving and Salvage and Blair’s Service Center. He operated both businesses with his son who lived with him during the last few years of his illness and continues to live there with the third and fourth generations.

Steve is survived by his son, Steven (Samantha) Blair; grandson, Jonathon Blair; stepdaughter, Jeni Six; stepgrandson, Josh Six; and sisters, Susan (Larry) Rains and Sharon Blair. He is preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Hannah Jo Blair.
