Fred Trujillo, Sr

Fred J. Trujillo, Sr., 71, of Des Moines died on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Elm Grove Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5-8 P.M. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Fred was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal service for 39 years and was also a translator for the 5th Judicial District. He was a member of the Professional Musician and Entertainers Club and was inducted into Hall of Fame in 2006.
He is survived by his special lady Virginia Butorac; his children Diane, Kit, Denise, Jeff, Teresa, Fred and John; his sisters Lilly and Sandy; his brothers Jack and John; his former wife Lorilla as well as 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Rovana and Joe; his sisters Grace and Clementina and his brother Roger.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Professional Musicians and Entertainers Club of Iowa.
