David Lohner

David Lohner, 78, died at his home Wednesday, April 11, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Davenport, IA. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
David was born September 27, 1928 in Des Moines to David and Edna Lohner. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served as a paratrooper in the Korean Conflict. David lived in Davenport, IA much of his life, where he was united in marriage to Doreen on January 14, 1974.
David is survived by his children, David (Tabatha) Lohner, Sr. and Karen (Danny) Jones, both of Des Moines; grandchildren, David Jr. and Candy Sue Lohner, John, Melissa, Chrissy, Bonnie, Danielle and Mathew Jones, all of Des Moines and his brothers, Don and Jerry Lohner. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Vickie Vaughn; wife, Doreen and his grandson, Travis Lee.
