Dennis Kline, Sr.

Dennis Ray Kline, Sr., 60, died Wednesday, June 8, 2011, surrounded by his loving family at Taylor House Hospice. He was born February 26, 1951, in Des Moines, the son of Roy Sr. and Mildred (McDonough) Kline.

Dennis lived in Des Moines his whole life, and worked at King Delivery for several years. He was an avid hunter and fisher.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; children, Dennis (Brenda) Kline, Jr., Daniel (April) Kline, and Nate “Bucky” Kline; grandchildren, Chelse Angell, Matt Parks, Dawn Kline, Vicktoria Entsminger, Desiree Trogdon, Miranda Trogdon, Hollie Trogdon and Gage Kline; mother, Mildred Kline; siblings, Shirley Williams, Rose Hannan (Arnie), Barbara Chapman, Ed (LuAnn) Kline, Sandy (Mark) Stromberg, Joe Kline, and Dave (Missy) Kline; as well a host of other beloved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Sr.; granddaughter, Tiffany; and his brother, Roy Jr.

Services will be held 12 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with cremation to follow. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
