Gloria L. Youde, 54, died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at her home from natural causes. She was born March 17, 1957 to Glen and Arlene Youde in Spencer, Iowa.
Gloria graduated from Spencer High School and was a private caregiver for many years where she took care of her mother and her aunt.
Gloria is survived by her sister, Jeani Plautz; twin brother, Lee Youde; brothers, Del and Bruce Youde; nephews, Hal (Lindsay) Plautz and Heath (Michelle) Plautz; great-nephews, Nicholas, Christian, and Camron Plautz; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Kathleen Youde; and brothers, Gary, Blaine, and Kevin Youde.
Per her wishes, her body has been cremated and a private family burial will occur at Willow Creek Cemetery in Royal, Iowa.

Gloria was my best friend during the time that we lived in Spencer. We attended North Grade School together and I can remember many times that we went over to her house after school and played. I have often wondered where Gloria was and how she was doing and was so sad to see that she has passed away.

Gloria was my former neighbor at E 33rd CT. A very good neighbor- took care of my dogs when I was on vacation and was always very friendly. I was very sorry to see her & Doug split & move away. Very sorry for your family's loss.
