Pat Bailey

Patricia Bailey passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Mercy Hospital. She was 65 years old.

All services will take place at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2011. Funeral will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at 11 a.m. She will be interred at Avon Cemetery in Des Moines.

Patricia was born November 14, 1945 in Burlington, Iowa to Alice (Peterson) and Ralph Mortensen. She was a member of the Grinnell JayCees and enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and cooking.

Patricia is survived by her children, Doug (Danielle) Bailey, Kimberly Holder, and Kristi (Wes) Fox; grandchildren, Drew Bailey and Davis Bailey; and brother, Ivan Mortensen. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Mortensen.
