Service Details
Jack C. Steele, Sr. passed away on Monday May 30, 2011. He was born in Chariton, Iowa on October 29, 1933.
Jack was a retired businessman with his hands in many different endeavors.
Jack is survived by his son Jack Jr. (Julie) and his grandchildren, Jessica and Justin and long time companion Dorene Steele all of Bondurant and sister, Frances Adams of Des Moines. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and his eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.

Sorry I missed the service I just heard about Uncle Jack passing, I would have een there If I had known. He was a fun Uncle and has given me many of memories like teaching me to play scat and many other fun games. I had some of the best memories running around in D&J's in Norwalk! I am so sorry for your loss.

Uncle Jack was always such a fun uncle who loved to joke and tease. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and sympathy to family left behind.
