Evelyn Pearl (Anderson) Barker, 83, passed away May 25, 2011.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 10 a.m. prior to the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Burial will follow at the Nevada Cemetery in Nevada, Iowa.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Peggy (Bob) Hayes, Chuck (Jennifer) Barker and Jeff Barker; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Verne; daughter, Nancy O’Leary; brothers, Don, Harold, Mason and Lloyd Anderson; and sister, Virginia Sims.

Dear Barker Family,
I offer my sympathy and prayers for you in this time of loss. At last Evelyn is at rest. In spite of all her suffering she was always so upbeat. she was such a good neighbor to my mother and to me. Karen and I will miss her. May you all be at peace.

Chuck and family, So sorry for your loss.....Really wish I would have stopped by to visit your Mom . It would have been fun catching up on everything with her. Here we were just talking about her at Mom's funeral in April. Your Mom was a wonderful lady and I know you will miss her. I will be thinking of your family.
