David Davis, Sr.

David L. Davis, Sr., 60, of Des Moines died on May 14, 2011, at his residence. David was born on March 26, 1951, in Des Moines to George & Margaret Davis. He was a self-employed Home Remodeler.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Graham Cemetery in Mingo, Iowa. Visitation will occur Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; his two sons, David, Jr., and Joseph Davis; his daughter Kathryn King; four grandchildren; his brother, George Davis and his sister, Christine Davis; and many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and a sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for their direction.
