Jeffrey Wisecup, 49, passed away May 10, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center.
Jeffrey was born September 16, 1961, in Des Moines, to Jerry and Sandra (Nelson) Wisecup. He was a bindery supervisor. Jeffrey loved spending time with his family and friends and never missed any of his children’s games.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Janea; son, Tony; daughter, Taylor; parents, Jerry and Sandy; and his brother, Mark.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 N.W. 60th Avenue, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Jerry I hope you read this, all the times Jeff and I went "fishing' WELL WE DID FISH, we just drank a couple. I always rember you waiting for us in the morning when we finally made it home in my dads step van still piss ass drunk, you would just smime and laugh.I think mainly because we made it home safe,but partly because you knew we were having fun!Jeff is my friend, he will always be in my heart,as well;as you are. I pray that one day we can understand why he had to leave us so soon. My deepest smypothy to you and Sandy.

You are deeply in my prayers right now. I didn't know Jeff but he sure sounded like a good guy per your saying. May God's hands be on you right now and allow Him to comfort you.
Lord, please help Janea and her two children as they are grieving right now. Please let them know that they are loved by You and You feel what they feel. I remember when Jesus Christ wept. Help them now in Jesus' Name, Amen

Janea,Tony,and Taylor...my prayers and thoughts are with you! Jeff was and still is the greatest friend that i have ever met. And i know he was also a great husband , father, and freind to you all. I have many great memories with Jeff and he will never be forgotten. He has a mentor to me and my family and i thank him for that. Janea, Tony & Taylor, I want to express my deepest condolences to you all of you. Your husband, dad and best friend will be greatly missed. Since the very first time I met Jeff at the DeeZee workout room I knew how proud he was to be your husband and dad. He bragged about all of you every time that I seen him. Tony and Taylor even though I have only seen you a few times with your dad I always felt as if I had known you forever because of him. He truly loved you both and was so very proud of you. You all made him so very happy. Even though he will not be here in person he will remain forever in your hearts until you meet again. Continue to make him proud of you. May God bless you all and comfort you in your sorrow.

I'm so sorry to hear about Jeff he was so nice , he'd speak everytime he'd see us. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. It is a great loss.Just hold on to all the great times and memories you all have had with him. if we can do anything please let us know.

To Jeff's family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Bob has been working with Jeff just the last couple of months, but was getting to be friends with him. Bob worked with Jeff all day on Monday and told him he would see him in the morning...just goes to show us all that you never know what can happen in such a short time. I hope he is smiling down on us all and knows that one day we will all meet again. Please know you are in our prayers and hope you will find strength to get through the days ahead. Take care.
