Helen Howell

Helen Howell, 91, died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Taylor House Hospice. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 11, 2007 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue. Burial will take place in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation with family present will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Helen was born January 11, 1916 to Harry and Pearl Bollenbaugh in Chadron, Nebraska. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and reading.
Helen is survived by her husband, Lyle Howell; daughters, Shirley (Don) Norem and Dorothy (Lawrence) Noble; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; brother, Jack (Darcy) Bollenbaugh; sisters, Jeanne Kurth and Betty (Bob) Buchmiller; special niece, Margaret (Charles) Smith; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House.
