Carol F. Logsdon, 76, passed away April 30, 2011, at Norwalk Nursing and Rehab.
Carol was born January 17, 1935, in Des Moines, to Robert and Zillah (McMillan) Beattie. She was a member of Southern Hills Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a life long-resident of Des Moines.
Carol is survived by her sons, Daniel, Stephen, William (Dawn), Paul, and Dale (Lisa) all of Des Moines, and Jeremy (Angela) of Grimes; six grandsons and two granddaughters.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Memorial services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, May 5, at Southern Hills Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 420 E. Watrous Avenue in Des Moines. A memorial reception will be held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home after the service with a private burial following.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Carol.

To Carol's Family,
We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She meant so much to you.We have many fond memories of all of you from many years ago. Only Jehovah and his spirit and the brotherhood can ease the pain you are suffering right now. We look forward to the time when we will welcome Carol back and she will be young and healthy. Hang on to that hope and work hard for Jehovah so that you will be there to welcome her.

We have been friends for many years and I have very fond memories growing up on the south side with you guys. I look back on our childhood and it brings back floods of memories and good times. Your mother will be missed but not forgotten.

Just to let all you boys know we are thinking about you and your
loss. I know your mother meant so much to you all.
Now she is asleep in death waiting soon for the
resurrection right here on the earth, which
looks pretty close now so she will not be gone
for long.
