Doloris “Dee” Hammond, 79, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 under hospice care. Per her request, cremation has occurred and no services are currently planned.
Dee will be remembered for her love of animals and her great sense of humor.
Dee is survived by her daughter, Shaney (Richard) Jacobson of Loveland, CO; brother, Conrad Maggard of Clive; three granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; close friend, Draguna Deumic; and Ervin and Elvin, who were like “grandsons” to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Hammond; son, Mike Hammond; and granddaughter, Karen Hammond.

We are very sorry to hear about your mom and our dear friend and "grandma" D e e.
She was a good neighbor and my dearest friend. We will miss her and thankful that we got to call her friend and grandma. Please know you are, and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Draguna, Ervin, Elvin, Fahira and family.
