Mama hopped her train to her next new adventure at 3:17 p.m. April 21, 2011. We chose not to warn them, but then again, they probably already got the memo and they’re doing rock-paper-scissors as to who will be helping her to the other side.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny G.; her daughters, Stephanie, Cassie, Andrea, Holly and Gabby; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and siblings, Debbie, Barbara, and Robby.
There will be a visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. the same day.

i know we all lost track over the years as we went on with our growing older and living. i am sorry this is one of the sad times to bring back the oh so nice memories and the fun times of childhood. it was not that long ago we were asking about sandy and talking about the younger years. she will not be forgotten and will be remembered always. she is certainly beautiful and always had that smile. i am sorry for her husband and childrens, grand childrens and great grand childrens loss as well as all of ours loss. rest in peace and sweet dreams sandy. i was one of the lucky ones to know you.

It's been many years since we've all seen each other - not
since we played together on your grandparents' farm in
Texas. But we are still family, and even though I can't be
there in person, I'm thinking of you, and sending my love
and prayers at this sad time.
