Service Details
Patrick Wilson, 41, died Saturday, April 9, 2011. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Patrick was born December 4, 1969 in Des Moines. He worked as a welder for Electrical Power Products EP2. Patrick loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Christy; children, Zach Allen, Andrew Wilson, Caleb Allen, Arin Wilson, Riley Wilson; granddaughter, Ava Marie; father, Harley A. (Sherry) Wilson, Sr.; brother, Harley “Andy” (Terri) Wilson; two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Riley-Knight and step-father, Hal Knight.

It's been years since I've heard anything about you. I just recently discovered you are Pat's wife. My Grandma live's right across the street from from you. Just wanted to tell you how sorry I am. Christy - I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I haven't seen you both in a very long time but I recall how happy you both were at the reunion (10yrs). I am praying for you and your children and hope that you can somehow be comforted during this most difficult time.

I was the receiver at Cub Foods in Ames. I worked with Pat when he would come up to pick up our cans and bottles. I enjoyed talking and working with him. May God bless you and give you the strength and understanding you need during this trying time.

Dear Kristy and family, My heart goes out to you. Pat was a great person with a huge Heart. I will never forget all the kind things he did for me with out asking anything in return. He was always there for me when things were bad, even just to listen to me.
