Willetta Stafford

Willetta M. Stafford, 92 died April 4, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Avon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007.
Willetta was born March 15, 1915 to Jacob and Bertha Vincent in Lucas County. She was a member of Grandview Church of Christ. Willetta loved life and lived it to it’s fullest.
Willetta is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Stig) Berg and Janette (Mac) McDonough; brother, Vern Vincent; sister, Wyona Baker; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Stafford; her parents; sisters, Hazel Mendenhall and Wyota Stark and her borther, Howard Vincent.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
