Service Details
Peggy Wheeler, 61, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, with burial following at Avon Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Peggy was born July 28, 1949, in Covington, Kentucky. She worked at US Bank for over 25 years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, and loved spending time with her grandsons.
Peggy is survived by her son, Jeb (Heather) Wheeler; grandsons, Brendan and Owen and brother, Steve (Connie) Williams.
The Peggy Wheeler Fund has been established for her grandchildren at all US Bank locations.

Peggy was a blessing to me in the move of Gailen Veurink to Des Moines. She will be missed. God's blessings and sympathy to her family

To the family of Peggy Wheeler...
My prayers and thoughts are with you in this difficult time. It was a pleasure working with Peggy. Peggy was really proud of her family especially her grandsons. We will sure miss the constant stories of her grandsons. May she rest in peace.

Jeb, Heather, Brenden & Owen & all Wheeler family members. Peggy will be missed each and every day. She was a great co-worker and friend. She was my scrap-booking buddy and we had a lot of fun talking and sharing stories. I will cherish the memories I have with Peggy. I am tuly blessed to have known her. Each of you are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish peace on all of you during this difficult time.

I feel blessed to have worked with Peggy for all these years at US Bank. I remember sharing stories of how proud she was of her grandkids and her son and daughter n law. She had such a positive attitude and truly loved making a difference in the people's lives with whom she had contact. May you find strength and peace on your journey of healing as we all share in the loss with you. God Bless each of you.
