Gladys L. Lowe, 95, passed away April 2, 2011, at Parkridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Gladys was born February 10, 1916, in Spring Hill, Iowa, to Charles and Rose Cross. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the AMF Owls Bowling Team.
Gladys is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Phillip) Penn, Gloria Christianson and Dianna (Reed) Shriver Sponsler; son, Roger (Barbara) Lowe; brother, Richard Cross; sisters, Lois Naples and Virginia Presley; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Kermit Lowe; son in law, Ray Christianson; two sisters; five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 Tuesday p.m., at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Activity Fund at Parkridge Nursing Home in memory of Gladys.

My condolecences to the Lowe Family...I cant imagine your loss of your mother, randmother and great grand mother...I didnt know Gladys very well but I went to school with Gloria...She was my best friend at East High..I feel so bad that I did not keep in touch with her.. My prayers are with your family as you go through the grieving process..if you need anything just let me know...Just knowing that your mother is in a better place and not suffering anymore should help the healing process...
