Hattie “Happy” Edmonds, 97, passed away March 30, 2011, in Des Moines. She was born August 29, 1913.
Hattie was a dedicated mother, aunt, and family member who had enjoyed providing for and spending time with her family. She was a great seamstress and enjoyed baking.
Hattie is survived by her son, Raymond Hamil; nephew, Ron (Peggy) Houghman; great-niece, Rhonda Isaacson; great-nephew, Kevin Houghman; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Edmonds and son, Gregg Houghman.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

To the family of Hattie, Im sending my condolences. Dorothy Connett was my Grandmother and I would go with her every once in a while to see Hattie when she lived in her house. Hattie was my Dads aunt. Im sure she will be missed by many.
