Service Details
Ted Rynearson passed away peacefully on March 30, 2011, at Kavanagh House in Des Moines. He was 86 years old.
Ted was born September 10, 1924, in Des Moines. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as a life insurance agent for John Hancock until his retirement in 1985.
Ted is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Rhonda Porter (Dan) of Missouri; Kathy Houge (Duane) of Slater; sons, Mark Rynearson (Janelle) of Urbandale; Roger Rynearson of Cedar Rapids; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jennie and George E. Rynearson, Sr., and his son, Ted Rynearson.
A public visitation for Ted will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway at 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., and then with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Kavanagh House hospice in loving memory of Ted.

My prayers and thoughts are with Kathy and the family of George (Ted) Rynearson. I enjoyed the opportunity of knowing George, he was a great man and I enjoyed the experience of getting to know him.

Dear Kath and Family,
Like you, we are very grateful to God for the day that we crossed paths at the hospital. It was a wonderful blessing to visit your Daddy with you and to have you visit our Mom with us. We are so sorry for your loss, but we rejoice with you that your Dad's suffering has ended forever and that his perfect new life with our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ has begun.
We pray that God will bless you according to Isaiah 40:11 & 31 and Isaiah 41:10.
