Kathy Scott

Kathy Ann Scott, 59, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Memorial services will be at 10am Saturday, April 7th at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Altoona Cemetery.
Kathy was born November 5, 1947 in Des Moines, the daughter of John and Sue Riley, Sr. She was a Supervisor with Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 25 years. For the past five years, she was a Clerk Specialist with the Department of Criminal Investigation.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, William “Bill” Scott of Altoona; son, Patrick (Lisa) Scott of Altoona; brothers, John (Mickey) Riley, Jr. and Kyle Riley, both of Des Moines and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will greet friends from 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or Hospice of Central Iowa in loving memory of Kathy.
