Signe L. Sharp

Signe Larsen Sharp, 92, passed away March 22, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center. She was born October 3, 1918, in Denmark and moved to Des Moines at the age of 6.

Signe is survived by her companion, Lee Uballe; children, Ron (Jean) Sharp, Sharon (Dan) Fish, Bonnie (Joe) Higgins and Nancy (Richard) Bradwell; sister, Gerda Hillyard; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden Sharp, and sister, Helga Wells.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2011, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
