Randy L. Wiese

Randy L. Wiese, 55, was born November 10, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Larry and Margaret (Shuler) Wiese. He passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Randy is survived by his wife, Denny Wiese; children, Shannon (Brian) Uglum, Brandon (Robin) Wiese, Jessica Palmer and Travis Palmer; his six grandchildren, Bryton, Zyler and Azaryana Uglum, Harmony Patterson, Phoebe Wiese and Randy Warren Lee Wiese; parents, Larry and Margaret Wiese; sister, Shelly (Doug) Sandquist; a niece and two nephews; other loving relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert and Ethel Wiese and Clifford and Anna Shuler.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, at New Life Church, 6036 NE 12th Avenue in Pleasant Hill, with burial to follow at the Altoona Cemetery. Family will greet visitors from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the church.
